Cathay Pacific celebrates 25th anniversary of HKG-AMS route
26-10-2011 : Today Cathay Pacific celebrated its 25th anniversary of the Hong Kong - Amsterdam route, which commenced back in 1986. At that time a twice weekly tag-on to London, operated with B747-200. Today a high standard service flown daily and direct into Hong Kong with a mix of B747-400 and A340-300 aircraft in 3 class lay-out. Reaching the 25th anniversary is a special moment for all Cathay Pacific passengers in the Dutch market, Cathay Pacific staff and its loyal suppliers, like Direct Maintenance. The incoming aircraft was greeting warmly and the passengers were offered a token of appreciation.
The picture shows a mingle of Cathay Pacifc and Direct Maintenance staff at Amsterdam, cheering on this occasion and impressive achievement.
